Quarantime 132 – Current Progress Update

Hi guys and welcome back to How to: School! Today is another day of the summer holidays – and we only have one more week of posts before we hit our goal!

Also, I realised that I would need a list of things to do over the holidays: so here is my list (so far):

  • Transfer the files from my old computer to my new one
  • Set up my TV
  • See at least 5 friends
  • Exercise for at least 10 hours
  • Do more of my Krakow project (that I mentioned in a previous post)
  • Shop for school equipment and stuff for revision for my GCSEs
  • Clothes shopping
  • Do a link cut for my art project
  • Get a regular meeting with my friends online each week
  • Make a things to do flowchart

I have also made the flowchart mentioned in the last item in this list – so I will show you all that tomorrow!

Quarantime 131 – Thankful Thursday

Hi guys and welcome back! Sorry that this post has come out so late – but I got a new computer today and I was setting it up and having a go!

Anyway, there are far less deaths around the globe from Covid-19, but yet there are more cases now than ever before. Why? Well, we now know more about this virus – and so we have better ways of dealing with it.

Around the world, 10,836,298 people have recovered from Coronavirus due to the work of doctors and nurses!

That is all that I have time for today! See you guys tomorrow!

Quarantime 130 – HUGE Announcement!!!

Hi guys and welcome back! Today’s post is a short one – but this is a very big notice to you all, especially if you have been subscribed to my blog for a long time!

Today’s post is my 356th post on this blog – and our aim right from the start was to reach 365 days of posting every single day, and we are really close to that goal!

When we hit that incredible number – I will stop posting every single day, but that does not mean that I will stop posting altogether.

I’m not sure if I will have a regular set schedule or not – but I will aim to post at least once each week.

The main reason for this is that I am completely burnt out after a whole year of posting!

I also have realised that my standards have begun to slip post to post, as posts nearer the start of this blog were longer and had better content overall (although my presentation of each post has improved – along with me coming up with a more personal style of writing to you all).

So, if I post less frequently each week – then I can promise you all far longer and better quality posts each time, rather than lots of shorter and lower quality posts!

We only have 9 more posts to go before we hit our goal! And I would like to thank you all for sticking with me this long!

Quarantime 129 – What Happened last Sunday!

Hi guys and welcome back! Now I can finally tell you all why I couldn’t tell you what happened on Sunday!

I have been away on holiday since Saturday – and all of the other posts have been pre-written and then scheduled!

So, I will tell you all about what happened this Sunday! Me and my family went on holiday and we went to a cave which you can walk into!

We then ate and played mini-golf before going back to our accommodation! It was a really fun holiday – and felt relatively normal considering the pandemic that we are in!

The only let down was the weather – as with most of the UK, it did nothing but rain or overcast the whole time!

Quarantime 128 – Time Wasters: Exercise

Hi guys and welcome back! Todays’ post is on how exercise can be not only good for your body and mind – but it also to waste any time that you feel bored in.

Not only is exercise obviously good for you – it can be done in a wide variety of forms and the weather has no affect on it (because you could just exercise indoors).

There is also no limit on how much exercise that you can do each day (now that this regulation has been lifted)! So you are not restricted in any way – and there is no excuse not to do it!

Running takes quite a while (depending on how far you run) – and allows you to explore the area around you in greater detail! You can control how far you run depending on your stamina level, so there is no reason to overextend yourself – but there is no reason not to push yourself either!

That is all that I have time for today guys – I will be giving you all another weekly challenge!

Quarantime 127 – Fun-Day Sunday

Hi guys and welcome back to How to: School! Today is a Fun-Day Sunday, as with every Sunday during quarantine!

However – I cannot tell you all about what this weeks’ fun-day Sunday is – until Tuesdays’ post! I cannot tell you what I have done today, but make sure to check out Tuesdays’ This Weeks’ Challenge From Me to You post!

That is all that I have time for today (again, for the secret that I will tell you on Tuesday) thank you for reading!

Quarantime 126 – Life After Quarantine: Shopping

Hi guys and welcome back! We have already experienced shopping during quarantine – but what about shopping centres?

Although many of them are open in the UK – many of the stores inside have found it not economically viable to reopen, even though other branches of the same store are open elsewhere on the high-street – why?

Well, many people feel far safer outside – as there is better air circulation, and coronavirus can be dispersed outside and quickly killed by the UV light from the sun.

Whereas inside of shopping centres, there is far less air circulation compared to outside – so the general public feels far less safe. And as there are less customers in the shopping centres – many branches have decided that they would lose money if they opened.

The only solution would be to either fully close shopping centres until the pandemic is over – or improve the air circulation inside of the centre.

That is all of the time that I have for today – thank you all for reading to the end (if you made it this far)!

Quarantime 125 – Current Progress Update

Hi guys and welcome back to How to: School! Today is another Friday and another Current Progress Update! As with most weeks in quarantine – not a lot has happened, but we have hosted our first competition on this blog!

Also, we are very close to reaching our 365 days in a row goal on this blog – with only 14 more posts to go! We hosted a photography competition this week, with the prize being a custom digital art piece made by me based on the photo that was submitted!

Here is the digital art piece once again:

Quarantime 124 – Thankful Thursday

Hi guys and welcome back! I have run out of time today – so sorry that this post is coming out so late! I was watching TV with my sister and lost track of time!

Anyway, so far, the amazing work of healthcare workers have saved: 9,487,176 lives from Covid-19!

That is all that I have time for today – so I am really sorry about that!

Quarantime 123 – This Weeks’ Challenge from Me to You

Hi guys and welcome back! This is another weekly challenge form me to you – and thank you for your submissions for the competition that was hosted last week!

Anyway, this weeks’ challenge form me to you is (drumroll please):

Go on a movie marathon with a friend over the phone (as in you both start the film at the same time and watch it as if you were together)!

Or you could even have them come over to your house as long as you keep to the social distancing rules!

That is all that I have time for today – I will see you all tomorrow for a Thankful Thursday post!
