Hi guys and welcome back to How to: School! 8th May 1945, at 3:00pm – the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill made a broadcast to the nation with the title: Victory in Europe.
This announcement signalled the fall of Nazi Germany and the end of war on European soil. And soon after – the atrocities of the Nazis finally ended.
My street had decided to have a barbecue in our respective driveways – staying two meters apart! It was great fun to all socialise and chat to my neighbours!
