Now, I might break this down into a few different posts, but the main thing to note is that how you deal with the situation is very different to how you deal with the student.
Firstly, it is important to tell both your parents and teachers that you are being bullied; and don’t worry about being a ‘snitch’. That is just a scare tactic that bullies and friends of bullies/people who don’t like you use to keep them out of trouble/ make you continue to suffer.
Secondly, make sure that you tell your teachers that you wish to anonymous; as once the bully has served any punishment that the school imposes on them, your troubles will get worse.
Finally, it is good to have a group of friends near you if you know that you are going to have to go near the bully(s). It won’t just make you more confident, they will hopefully back you up if you get into any trouble. But try to avoid the bully as much as possible!
