My 100th Post!

For this 100th post special, I am going to be talking about things that happened 100 ___ ago, and things that have happened 100 times.

Nothing extraordinary happened exactly 100 years ago, but that same month in November 1919, the US senate rejected the Treaty of Versailles and League of Nations. The polish prime minister Ignacy Jan Paderewski resigned, and Nancy Astor became the first female to be elected to sit in the British House of Commons. A Russian general and the inventor of the AK-47 was born.

Now onto things that happened 100 months ago, Peter Twiss the British test pilot (who broke the World Air Speed record) who became the first person to travel over 1,000 mph died. It was the deadliest day in the Afghan war, 2 Navy SEALs were killed along with 8 armed U.S. servicemen; after the Afghanistan troops shot down their Chinook helicopter. NASA launched its’ Juno space probe to study Jupiter. 5.8 earthquake occurred in Mineral, Virginia. Steve Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple as a result of his illness.

Moving into things that occurred 100 days ago. The date was 9th August, and a landslide killed 59 people in Myanmar and 80,000 people were in emergency evacuation sites. Brussels refused to move the Irish backstop on the Brexit deal.

Now into 100 hours ago, the date is 12th November 2019. Disney launched its Disney+ streaming service. Now, 100 minutes ago (at the time of this post) Holly Hagan is said to have wowed people at the Butterfly ball (whatever that is, not much has happened in the last 100 minutes).

Finally, 100 seconds ago, I was 2 thirds of the way through writing this post, now, you are reading it! So, I hope that you have enjoyed this 100 posts in a row special! Please do hit the like button down below and subscribe if you are new!
