I said that I would try really hard for you guys to get your fortnightly How to: School section. But, the WordPress page actually glitched out while I was writing this, deleting all of my tabs (along with 3 pieces of homework) and what I was writing for todays’ post.
Anyway, me crying for an hour aside, here is a short section of my How to: School book on how forms work.
A Short Extract from How to: School – How Forms Work
When you arrive at school for the first time, you’ll be put into a form (think Harry Potter, but without the sorting ceremony). Depending on how your school does it, they’ll be a number of forms that you could be put into. My school had six forms and yours could have more, less, or the same as this. There is no set rule for which forms you’ll end up in, although there are some factors which may influence it:
- If you have brothers/sisters in a certain house, then you might be put into the same house as them.
- If you have others from your primary school also going to your secondary school, you could find that you end up in the same form as them but this is not always the case and you should be prepared to not be with your friends (sometimes mean schools will split you up deliberately for you to make new friends).
